Let us help you celebrate a birthday or any special occasion.

With the assistance of a library professional, you can host a party at the Library based on a theme of your choice. You provide the food and we provide the activities based on themes such as, storytime for children, travel abroad for adults, or a tea party or BINGO for all ages. Library professionals will work with you to create a great event for your guests. Please plan in advance as dates will be limited.

**We will request a minimum donation of $50.00. Donation amount may vary based on group size, library involvement, and other factors. For more information, please call 412-885-2255.

USED BOOK DONATIONS

The library accepts used book donations [between 1-5 years old] all year long during regular operating hours.

NEVER ENDING BOOK SALE - inside the main library room, paperbacks are sold throughout the year.

BOOK & BAKE SALES - are held each Spring and Fall on Election Day in the main lobby of the Wallace Building.  The dates for 2012 are:

  • Tuesday, April 24 / 8 AM - 8 PM

  • Tuesday, November 6 / 8 AM - 8 PM

USED BOOKS, BAKED GOODS & MORE NEEDED!

The library is requesting the following items for the April sale.

  • Please bring in your used books [between 1-5 years old], puzzles, games, CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, and magazines during regular library operating hours.

  • Baked goods are also needed for the BAKE SALE and can be dropped off at the library on Monday, April 23 or Tuesday, April 24.

  • Like to Help? Please call the library at 412-885-2255 if you would like to help with the set up on Monday, April 23 or with the sale.

The SPRING BOOK SALE is Tuesday, April 24 - Saturday, April 28 in the main lobby of the Wallace Building. Times TBA
