Click to access the PA Power Library
Did you know that you can do school research from home? No, I'm not talking about Google. I'm talking about databases.
Databases are reliable sources of information. They are articles from newspapers, magazines, encyclopedias and more. Most articles even provide correct citation for bibilographies.
All you need is your library card number to get started. Click on PA Power Library to connect, then type in your card number. You will then be connected to all the databases in the Power Library system.
Different databases serve different purposes. If you need help locating an appropriate database, please contact Kristin at 412-885-2255 or at burnistonk@einetwork.net.
:
1. Go to the online reference section. 2. Scroll down. Click on Gale Group.
3. Enter your library card number if you're at home or at school (you will be automatically connected if you're at a public library). 4. Click on Literature Resource Center - LRC.
5. Search by author, title, etc.
6. Literary Criticisms are found on the second tab of the search results.
