TAB News: TAB is preparing for a winter fundraiser.

The Baldwin Library Teen Advisory Board was founded on September 28, 2006. Currently, TAB has 15 members from grades 7-12.

Our officers are:

Andrea Weigand - Treasurer

TAB members participate in a variety of activities. Some of the responsibilities include:

• Plan teen events
• Help with children’s events
• Do volunteer projects
• Decorate for holidays and events
• Develop the teen collection (books, DVDs, CDs, etc.)
• Create and maintain the young adult website
• Design a teen area in the library
• Pick prizes for the summer reading programs

TAB is always accepting new applications. We need young adults who are mature, committed individuals. TAB will be fun, but we need to cooperate when it’s time to get serious!

TAB meets once a month, usually on the last Monday of the month. Our next meeting is October 18, 2007 at 6:00 pm.
