The Baldwin Library holds many contests. We also promote contests for various organizations such as the Young Adult Library Services Assocation. Please look below to find out the deadlines for many of these contests.

ONLINE CONTEST SITES
TeenInk - Teen Ink is a monthly print magazine, website, and a book series all written by teens for teens.
nextSTEP - The nextSTEP magazine is an objective, coast-to-coast teen publication that covers college, career planning, and life skills.
VOYA - VOYA (Voice of Youth Advocates) is a bimonthly journal addressing librarians, educators, and other professionals who work with young adults.
Fire Escape - A website that hosts its own teen writing contests.
Teen Writers - This site is a compilation of teen writing contests.

DECEMBER 14: Letters about Literature

To enter, readers write a personal letter to an author, living or dead, from any genre-- fiction or nonfiction, contemporary or classic, explaining how that author's work changed the student's way of thinking about the world or themselves.
